Elizabeth Steinglass grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. Her first collection of poetry, for children, Soccerverse: Poems about Soccer (Wordsong, 2019) was named a National Council of Teachers of English Notable Book of Poetry in 2020. Elizabeth currently lives in Washington, DC with her husband and the youngest of their three children. Her poetry for adults has recently appeared in Rust & Moth and Salamander.
